Our Safeguarding Process

Safeguarding is our top priority. We can guarantee all our candidates have passed strict clearance checks, providing original proof of all requested documentation. We work vigorously to gain verification checks on all our candidates ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in their care.

Registering with Recruitment Education Global Services is a two stage process we firstly perform an initial telephone interview to confirm information on their CV’s, the 2nd stage is an hour-long registration interview. How we work differently to other education recruitment agencies is we don’t just look through a candidate’s CV we discover what they find enjoyable in education, identifying their strengths and areas of expertise, how they have dealt with working with challenging behaviour, previous schools and experiences. Which means we can effectively place candidates in appropriate schools, which will enable the candidate to adhere to the ethos of the school.

Every candidate is made aware of our stringent adherence to the highest standards. We require all original documentation at the registration and we make copies of all relevant proof of identification documents- passport/birth certificate, driving licence, proof of name change (if applicable), NI proof, address proof (dated within the last 3 months), qualification certificates, copies of previous DBS and payment for us to complete new DBS checks. Overseas police check if relevant. The candidates then complete all of the relevant paperwork including 5 year address history for DBS, disqualification through association form, update service consent etc and two excellent educational references.

In order to complete the registration process we then chase references, check QTS numbers, send off for DBS checks/check the update service.
